Washoe District Judge Kathleen Sigurdson will remain on the Michael Leonard lawsuit involving Devon Reese, Alex Velto, and Conor McQuivey. A motion had challenged her impartiality, but Judge Barry Breslow ruled there was no evidence of bias sufficient to warrant removing her from the case. He noted, however, that the “significant concerns” raised by the motion can still be addressed later on appeal, should the case reach that point.

We find it interesting that no media outlet has shared the video clip of Councilmember Devon Reese and Mike Leonard being at the front door of the Belleville Wine Bar within seconds of one another. It’s… something… to watch the towering Reese and the much smaller Leonard going in and out the front door. Makes you wonder: who was really afraid of whom?

Plus then we have the wife of EDAWN’s Executive Director at the door, seconds later, apparently making sure Leonard has left the building, parking lot, maybe even Reno. We wonder what her official capacity is for Councilmember Reese. Security?
