Exhibit A: Just Press Play

Behind Lorton and his lawyer are not only the press from the Reno Gazette Journal and KUNR but also Lorton’s Republican Women’s Cheerleaders one of which is Debbie Hudgens who is the President of Republican Women of Reno - and if we were Kathleen Taylor, also a Republican we’d be complaining to the National Federation of Republican Women and getting the club’s charter revoked. Oh, and Bruce Parks was on the other side of the room but he arrived late.

In Reno, sometimes the best commentary is no commentary at all—and when it comes to Eddie Lorton, we’re taking that approach this time. We’ll let Eddie do the talking.

Inside the courtroom, the cast of characters alone was worth noting. Sitting in the gallery: Hillary Schieve, who had been floated as a potential witness, and Mike Clark, observing proceedings that likely felt a bit familiar given past courtroom appearances tied to similar legal disputes. Call it Reno déjà vu. Hascheff was proven wrong regarding the TRO he issued against Clark back in 2021.

As for the testimony—well, that’s where things get interesting. Rather than spin it, we’re posting three clips and letting viewers draw their own conclusions. No filters, no interpretation—just Eddie, on the record. Our favorite part of Lorton’s testimony was when he refused to answer a question Leonard’s lawyer posed and Judge Hascheff told him he had to answer - what happened to Lorton and all that transparency he talks about. He’s under oath and won’t answer what kind of mayor would that make him for Reno?

Thanks to Michael Leonard/Mike’s Reno Report for taking the time to post these videos to YouTube so voters can view this circus where Lorton is clearly just trolling for press. And it seems Judge Hascheff is willing to give it to him. Great use of taxpayer dollars Pierre.

Stay tuned. There’s already a follow-up court date set for May 2026, and if this round is any indication, there’s more to come.
