MONDAY MORNING MESS — ALL ROADS LEAD TO COURT

What will Mayor Hillary Schieve say on the stand …

Clear your calendar.

On Monday, April 13, if you want a front-row seat to one of the most embarrassing political spectacles in Reno, head down to Washoe County Justice Court.

Judge Pierra Hascheff will be presiding over the latest installment of Eddie Lorton vs. Michael Leonard — and yes, it’s exactly the circus you think it is.

Greater Reno at the Reno Gazette Journal broke the story that Mayor Hillary Schieve will be on the stand for Eddie Lorton on Monday, April 13th in Judge Pierre Hascheff’s courtroom in Washoe County Justice Court.

The public can go - Hascheff can’t stop you. The press has to have permission.

And here’s where it gets unbelievable:

Reno Mayor Hillary Schieve is expected to be called as a witness — on behalf of Eddie Lorton.

Let that sink in.

Because if memory serves, Lorton has been a major supporter of Robert Beadles — who openly admitted to paying a private investigator to put a tracker on Schieve’s car.

At the time, the mayor made it clear how shaken and concerned she was.

Now?

She’s showing up in support of someone tied to that same orbit.

So what changed?

And it doesn’t stop there.

Wasn’t it Schieve herself taking photos of Michael Leonard at a local wine bar?

The same night Devon Reese was there — appearing confused about whether he even had a restraining order against Leonard? He doesn’t.

This isn’t leadership.

This is chaos.

It’s a sitting mayor, a mayoral candidate, and a rotating cast of political figures all tangled up in a public, courtroom drama that’s quickly turning into a civic embarrassment.

Reno deserves better than this kind of sideshow.

Because right now, it’s not just messy —

It’s a spectacle.

Do better you political people you.
