Story that broke from Our Town Reno yesterday.

Why did the Washoe County Library director leave after only a few months on the job?

That's the question many people are asking.

The rumor mill has been busy, with plenty of speculation that there's much more to the story than has been publicly shared. Some are even suggesting Washoe County government played a role.

At this point, those are just rumors. We'll be digging for the facts, requesting records, and asking questions. If there's more to this story, we'll report it. If there isn't, we'll report that too. We’ve already been told by a few folks what happened but we really can’t report on it until we can prove it. That will need a few public records and we wonder how fast DA Herb Kaplan will fulfill requests.

Remember Assistant County Manager Dave Solaro still won’t admit there is Radon in the Second Judicial District Court, he won’t tell us what happened to Judge Connie Steinheimer who is missing from the courthouse, and let’s now remember a Justice Court Judge has been in an accident and no one is fessing up as to what had happened to Judge David Clifton.
