The Case of the Honorable Stalker

LinkedIn announcement.

Remember how former Washoe County District Court Judge Bridget Robb pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor stalking charge stemming from allegations that she repeatedly followed and monitored a Reno attorney over an extended period. As part of a plea agreement reached in Sparks Municipal Court, Robb admitted guilt to the charge and avoided a trial.

Under the terms of the plea, Robb was ordered to pay $22,663 in restitution, complete 100 hours of community service, and undergo at least six months of mental health counseling. The victim had requested the community service component as part of the resolution.

It seems the victim has left the law firm she was working at where former Judge Robb was holding settlement conferences, something that has never been fully explained by the Second Judicial District Chief Judge Egan Walker but he seems to not believe in transparency since we still don’t know where Judge Connie Steinheimer has disappeared to - taxpayers pay her to be a judge, they pay her staff, but it seems no one is working for about five months. Where is Connie? But hey, back to wondering why Robb was allowed to mediate at McDonald Carano and not the courthouse. Egan got an answer?

We hope Kelci Binau is happy at Fennemore and that former Judge Bridgett Robb doen’t drive by.
