From NextDoor … we wish we could take credit for it.

We enjoy a good pair of pink hot pants as much as anyone, but this may be the funniest thing we've seen all political season.

Found on Nextdoor, this gem immediately caught our attention, and the only thing we could think was:

"Somewhere in Reno, a campaign consultant just fell to their knees."

Or perhaps:

"Is this a political statement, a fashion statement, or both?"

Either way, in a campaign season filled with data centers, parades, restraining orders, polls, press conferences, and endless candidate drama, a pair of pink hot pants may have delivered the most memorable message of them all.
